Any inspiration on this creation?

I saw the recipe on Food network channel. It looked delicious and I just wanted to try it! I loved it when I first tried it, I loved its spiciness. I like to cook it time to time when some of my Asian friends come over.

Ingredients

Main Ingredient Potato - Just one good size potato (If you don't like starch you don't have to put this in). Mushroom - Any mushroom goes well I think. Beef - A tender steak. About a pound. Sauce Ground Pepper - 5T, Pepper Paste sauce - 2T (You can get this in Asian market. Just ask for Korean style pepper paste sauce) Soy Sauce - 3T, Maple Syrup - 4T, Cooking wine - 2T, Sesame oil - 1T, Black Pepper - 1/2t, Asian Pear - 3T (Fine Grind it. You can also use Apple or Onion). Garlic 1T, Ginger 1T , Scallion 2T - - Grind them. EVOO 1T

Directions

Cut Potato, so that it is a good size to eat.
Put it in the pool of water for about half an hour. This is to get starchiness out of the potato.
Put beef in another pool of water for about an hour to get the blood out.

Mix every sauce ingredients together and stir thoroughly.
Grind pear, apple or onion makes the beef less oily and soft.

Take the beef out and Slice it. Not too thin but thin enough so that it is good to eat and will get cooked easily.
Knife the beef little bit so that it gets soft and it will soak up all the wonderful sauce easily and thoroughly.

Put the beef in the bowl and sauce together, mix and stir it, then leave it for about half an hour.

Put about 1T of EVOO in the pot and sauté Potato.
When the color of potato becomes a little transparent, pour all the sauce and beef together into the pot.
Pour half cup of water into the pot, close the lid and boil them.
Boil them until they are not watery.

Depending on your preference, You could add chopped onion or carrot, but I just added mushroom.
I also added cooked Asian noodle on top of it. It is a clear transparent noodle. I don't really know what it is called but It really soaks up the flavor.

Serve it on the bowl of some sort so that you can enjoy sauce with the beef also.

Chef's note

It is a bit spicy but spicy is good. Spicy pepper supposedly burn fat well. Enjoy guys!
